Biography

Sarah Lauprêtre is co-founder and Director of Development at Scaliance, based in Montreal. A business development and marketing strategist, she brings more than ten years alongside leaders and large North American firms, spanning digital marketing, consulting, corporate services and finance recruitment.

Her time in finance recruitment gave her a direct view of the accounting talent shortage and of the true cost of a hire: time to fill, payroll overhead, turnover. She knows what accounting firms and finance leaders expect, and how mandates are won.

At Scaliance, she leads market analysis, opportunity identification, strategic planning, proposals and client relationships. On the blog, she writes about the cost of dedicated accounting teams, finance outsourcing and hybrid in-house and remote models.
